Centry Firmware Update Adds New Features, Functionality

HOLLAND, MICHIGAN (January 20, 2020): Code Blue is pleased to announce a series of new features and updates available for Centry®, our dynamic IP video Help Point®.

Starting February 3, 2020, the following features will be available on all new orders or via an EmerComm® firmware upgrade:

  • Multicast paging, allowing you to easily broadcast out to multiple end points.
  • Enhanced diagnostics to ensure the phone is functioning properly at all times.
  • Ability to control Code Blue public address speaker systems.
  • New hardware controls, including additional Station Beacon Light flashing and ring lit button customization.

These updates, along with the peer-to-peer audio functionality that was released last fall, help make Code Blue’s newest SIP-compatible device ideal for a wide range of indoor or outdoor locations.

Centry is Code Blue’s first Help Point to include a camera integrated right into a faceplate, highly visible embedded Station Beacon Light and our EmerComm device operating system. All of this is built on the traditions synonymous with all Code Blue Help Points, including durability, visibility and versatility.
