Code Blue supports National Campus Safety Month, Webinar

Every fall, as schools open their doors once again, an important program shines a light on keeping students safe. Our friends at the Clery Center for Security on Campus, along with their partners at Promoting Awareness, Victim Empowerment (PAVE), promote September each year as National Campus Safety Awareness Month.

Last year, Code Blue was proud to serve as a lead partner of this powerful program that empowers students and faculty members to offer campus safety programming. This year, Code Blue invites campuses to join in for a FREE webinar on Tuesday, Sept. 10, on engaging your campus community during National Campus Safety Awareness Month and throughout the school year. During this webinar, the Clery Center, PAVE, and institutional partners will:

  • Illustrate how to incorporate the free Safe Campus, Strong Voices toolkit into your programming efforts on campus;
  • Highlight additional free programs and resources to use throughout the year, including the PACT5 campaign and the national Day of Action on September 25;
  • Present case studies of colleges and universities taking a holistic approach to prevention and education on campus and provide strategies for developing a multidisciplinary approach to campus safety programming.
