Code Blue Corporation, the industry pioneering manufacturer of emergency communication solutions, recently was announced as the recipient of a 2017 Skilled Trades Training Fund award by the State of Michigan’s Talent Investment Agency.
Established in 2013 by Gov. Rick Snyder, the Skilled Trades Training Fund provides Michigan-based companies with funds to invest in employee training and help fill skilled-trade jobs. It is currently on track to train more than 30,000 workers and create over 400 apprentices. In 2017, more than $5 million will be awarded to 120 companies in the West Michigan area in sectors that include manufacturing, technology, health care and construction.
