Code Blue provides assistance to UC Berkeley student

Code Blue’s industry leading emergency communication solutions have bolstered the safety and security at colleges and universities around the world for more than 25 years.

More recently, a Code Blue Help Point® was able assist a young student at the University of California, Berkeley who had been robbed by two men.

According to the Contra Costa Times, the student was walking on campus when the two men approached him and demanded his property while gesturing like they might have a gun. The victim, who was not injured, complied and immediately called police using one of the many Code Blue products that can be found throughout Berkeley’s 1,200-acre campus.

Officers then were able to search the area and quickly arrested two suspects on the suspicion of armed robbery.

That kind of help is precisely what Code Blue solutions are designed to offer, whether it’s providing assistance during an emergency incident, reporting a suspicious individual or simply asking for help with car trouble. No matter the situation, Code Blue can provide efficient and effective contact with first responders to ensure the safety and security of individuals surrounding virtually any location.
