HOLLAND, MICHIGAN (January 16, 2012): Code Blue Corporation has announced David Cook as the Chief Operating Officer. As COO, Cook will be responsible for leading Code Blue in expanding its well-known endpoint communication stations to include a software-based Managed Emergency Communications System (MECS) that provides centralized control of fire, security, sound and communication systems.
Cook will manage sales, finance, marketing, business development, product development and manufacturing, along with customer service, and will report to Code Blue’s President and CEO Ken Genzink.
“Beyond his depth of technical expertise, David brings overall business development and strategic planning experience”, said Ken Genzink, “which will continue to make Code Blue the trusted provider of innovative products, systems and services our customers are looking for.”
Cook brings to Code Blue expertise in the following areas: networking, VOIP engineer, application & web development, and systems analyst using Microsoft and Unix-based operating systems. In addition, he holds many certifications from technology industry leaders. These combined skills will enhance Code Blue’s MECS offering.
Prior to joining Code Blue, Cook served as the Chief Technology Officer for Corner World Corporation. He served in the United States Navy as an intelligence specialist holding top secret security clearance and is a veteran of the Gulf War.
