In the weeks leading up to our Open House on May 7, several media outlets in the West Michigan area took note of Code Blue’s continued growth and expansion.
We officially moved into our 34,000 square foot facility at 259 Hedcor Street in Holland, Michigan on March 1. The facility will provide us with a sound foundation to strengthen our position as a global leader in emergency communication solutions.
That was noted in an article from MLive.com. (Read the full article here.)
“The plant will be the new headquarters and production facility for emergency stations that range from compact communications boxes for parking garages up to nine-foot tall, steel security stations that when activated set off strobe lights and provide immediate voice and video connection to central security.”
Code Blue Chief Operating Officer David Cook explained why the move was necessary in a story that appeared in the Holland Sentinel. (Read the full article here.)
“The company is starting to shift from being a more traditional manufacturer, with assembly and painting, into a technology manufacturer,” Cook said. “With our continued national growth and burgeoning international momentum, it was vital that we expand. It’s an exciting time to be at Code Blue.”
Cook also told Rapid Growth Media, an online publication based in Grand Rapids, Michigan, that it was important for Code Blue to remain in Holland. (Read the full article here.)
“We’re tapping into the talent pool in West Michigan and it’s important to Code Blue that our products are made in Michigan,” Cook says. “We want to give back to the community and to be a part of the community, and it’s important for us to be part of the West Michigan culture.”
