Code Blue Expands Power over Ethernet (PoE) Options
Code Blue’s efforts to provide you with additional options to configure your emergency communication solutions extend to an expansion of our Power over Ethernet (PoE) offerings.
Now available is a PoE+ Splitter that is IEEE 802.3at compliant, allowing you to power even more Code Blue Help Points® via a CAT5, CAT5e or CAT6 cable, including the CB 1-s and CB 2-s. This will give you the ability to not only power Code Blue’s industry leading speakerphones and LED Beacon/Strobe lights, but also additional devices, including area lights or other third party accessories.
The PoE Splitter also is IEEE 802.3af compliant.
Code Blue offers several ways for locations to take advantage of PoE to help eliminate the cost of running electrical facilities to your units, while also reducing the cost of your system and providing additional flexibility and networking capabilities. Additionally, our VoIP phones can be powered via PoE to provide even more options.
