SIP Video Included In Latest EmerComm® Upgrade

HOLLAND, MICHIGAN, (August 26, 2020): Code Blue is pleased to announce an EmerComm® firmware update that will offer new features and functionality to products utilizing our dynamic device operating system.

Starting immediately, the following features will be available on all new orders or via a convenient firmware upgrade:

  • SIP video support
  • Handset and keypad functionality
  • Customizable incoming call scripting
  • Volume control and hang-up functionality from both the caller and operator sides

These updates, along with additional interface and hardware updates, help make SIP-compatible devices like Centry® ideal for a wide range of indoor and outdoor locations.

Recent EmerComm firmware upgrades also included multicast paging, public address controls, enhanced diagnostics and peer-to-peer audio communication.

Centry is Code Blue’s first Help Point to include a camera integrated right into a faceplate, highly visible embedded Station Beacon Light and our EmerComm device operating system. All of this is built on the traditions synonymous with all Code Blue Help Points, including durability, visibility and versatility.
